About Me

My name is Rhonda Evans, welcome to Synthesis Counseling Services. As a therapist, I use a client-centered, solution-focused approach to address the issues.

I spent the beginning of my adult career in business, finance, and the banking industry. Once I married, I chose to stay home and raise my children. During those years I had many opportunities to volunteer with non-profit ogranizations and the schools. I enjoyed providing services to those in need and I developed an interest in counseling and mental health.

I have worked for over 20 years in education as a school social worker, counselor, crisis interventionist, and counseling services coordinator. I have a Master’s degree from Southern Illinois University in Social Work and a Master’s degree from McKendree University in Education Administration. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas.

In my free time I enjoy reading, golf, gardening, horses, yoga, music, and spending time with my family and friends.
